Greenville, SC - Friends of the Reedy River (FoRR) is proud to announce the success of its Fall 2025 Reedy River Sweep, held on September 20, 2025. More than 250 dedicated volunteers came together to make a tangible difference for Greenville's beloved Reedy River, removing an astounding 10,700 plus pounds of trash and over 80 tires from waterways, parks, and surrounding areas.

From families and students to community groups and local businesses, volunteers of all ages roll up their sleeves to help restore and protect one of Greenville's most treasured natural resources. Their efforts underscore the community's deep commitment to clean water, healthy ecosystems, and a thriving river for generations to come.

Friends of the Reedy River extends heartfelt thanks to its sponsors and partners who made this event possible, including Seamon Whiteside, Grand Bohemian Lodge, Overlands, Dapper Ink, and Southernside Brewing, whose support helped fuel the day's success.

The bi-annual Reedy River Sweep is part of RoRR's ongoing mission to engage the community in protecting and restoring the Reedy River through education, motivation and advocacy.
